Get rid of one. Norton will not load if you have another virus program installed? So I don’t know how you got two.
You will cause conflicts between the two programs if you attempt to run them both and possibly leave your computer venerable to the virus you are trying to avoid.

and if u dump norton use the removal toll found on nortons web site–don’t use add/remove from the control panel u wont remove all of norton just parts of it

Running more than one anti-virus program on a computer can cause system instability, as the two applications will conflict.
I suggest you remove Norton and Antivir, because Norton will slow down your computer. Antivir is not the best antivirus to scan your computer.

Yeah, despite what people say, it’s best to have more than one security scanner on your PC because they’ll cross-check each other with their different definition databases. But get rid of norton. It has no respect in the security community. Get some good freeware, like adaware, spybot, avg, avast, etc.

My Answer very simple ‘ NO ‘ why? The use of 2 anti-virus programs at the same time can cause major conflicts. The 2 scanning engines will fight each other to scan every file that you read, write or execute which can cause a slowdown. For the same reason, using 2 A-Vs can cause you to have less protection from the various malware, not more.
Running two antivirus programs at the same time can cause conflicts sometimes between built-in firewalls etc. it is not suggested.

It is not safe to have two anti-virus that provide real time protection because they may conflict with each other.
